Placencia

LOCATION

The Placencia Resort is located on the Placencia Peninsula, a verdant, 18-mile long isthmus in southern Belize poised near the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere and near the country’s extensive network of protected areas and parks. Just 100 miles south of the main international airport in Belize City, The Placencia Resort is also served by the small airport in Placencia. The resort is 8 miles north of the airport, and just to the north of the village of Maya Beach. Guests are welcome to use the complementary scheduled transportation to Placencia village to take in the arts and crafts and enjoy its bars and restaurants.

For those seeking relaxation, calming beaches run the length of the peninsula. If you're looking to explore, the reef offers some of the best diving in the country or head inland to one of the many national parks and forest preserves. Perfect for couples, each offers a king size bed and all the amenities you desire, including WiFi, flat-screen TV, and air-conditioning. Oceanview King Rooms offer the best views at the resort. Ask us about combining this room to create a two or three bedroom villa! Oceanview King Rooms are 300 sq ft each and accommodate a maximum of two guests.
